We are very delighted to once again be part of this years Southern Guild exhibition. Southern Guild 2013 opens MOAD – 281 Commissioner Street, Jhb
This exhibition showcased over 20 pieces of new contemporary furniture by 16 designers from 10 countries in East, West and Southern Africa.
This year we were fortunate enough to take part in the trade only Maison&Objet Paris. We were hosted in Hall 5B along with a variety of other international designers.
We were very proud to along side Source SA and 15 other SA designers be part of the 2013 NY Now Accent On Design Trade show. We look forward to 2014.
Mandela Bay Development Agency hosted ‘Meet Your Artist’ a six week programme of arts and culture festivities that coincided with the celebration of former president and world icon, Nelson Mandela’s Birthday on July 18.The overall programme at the Athenaeum funded by the National Lotteries Distribution Trust Fund (NLDTF) would profile and feature art, dance, drama, music, craft and fashion offerings by creative industry participants.
Sheep art created by local designers, as well as wool sheep created by Ronel Jordaan were displayed in Sandton City Johannesburg. This all formed part of a local initiative to support the Campaign for Wool in the footsteps of similar projects held in London, New York and Sydney Australia.
This past years Design Indaba was a huge success for us. We formed part of the Cape Wool’s stand voted most popular stand for 2013, as well as launched our new felt cement tiles range. We were also nominated for one of South Africa’s most beautiful objects. We look forward to Design Indaba 2014.
Ronel took part in Product Development hosted by DNA in beautiful Ethiopia. Our newest design the Lalibella was inspired by the beautiful country and people of Ethiopia.
